Oraia daily treatment program is unlike anything you may have tried before. Unlike many other anti-aging products containing only minute amounts of a beneficial ingredient, Oraia is formulated with the highest and/or correct concentration (percentage) of powerful active ingredients. Concentration is key to a product's ability to provide the best results and ensure that it performs properly. You'll start to see amazing results right away.
Below are descriptions of every ingredient in the new, improved and more powerful Oraia:
Aqua (Water) – ours is distilled water, the purest on the planet.
Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water – soothing, calming, astringent. Skin conditioner.
Lycium Barbarum (Goji Berry) Fruit Extract (aka Instalift Goji) - for long term anti-aging benefits and instant firming. Extracted from the extremely nutritious and antioxidant rich goji berry. An isolated active glycopeptide fraction which combines the skin lifting and firming strength of both proteins and polysaccharides. This goji glycopeptide fraction forms a perfect rigid lifting mesh to support sagging and wrinkled skin for creating an immediate visible appearance of lifting. Goji glycopeptides further offers critical long term anti-aging functions via: MMP inhibition, antioxidant activity, anti-apoptotic, and collagen stimulatory activity for a complete anti-aging treatment. Antioxidant/Anti-aging.
Glycerin - Softens and smoothes skin. Humectant that draws moisture from the air to keep hair and skin moist. Emollient, lubricates and prevents moisture loss.
Alcohol Denat. – a component of a few of the other ingredients such as witch hazel. INCI requires that we list the alcohol content separately even if it is part of another ingredient.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate - A stable oil soluble form of Vitamin C. Protects against damage done by UV, an MMPI, helps produce and protect collagen, clarifies and helps clear blemishes, protects DNA, brightening, Anti-Aging. Antioxidant.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 – Syn-Coll, - Iron out wrinkles. A small peptide with a unique sequence to mimic the human body’s own mechanism to produce collagen. Has shown to have excellent collagen building capacity, skin firming, and moisturizing. Can be considered an effective alternative to collagen injections. Anti-wrinkle. Anti-aging.
Wine Extract (Resveratrol) – from red wine. Potent antioxidant, rich in polyphenols with skin protective and anti-aging abilities. Proven contributor to younger-looking skin. Anti-aging. Sirtuin. Antioxidant.
Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract – natural preservative.
Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract – natural preservative.
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil – calming, soothing, de-stressing essential oil, helps prevent scarring, balances the skin. Protective.
Peumus Boldus Leaf Extract (aka D-boldine) - very calming, helps protect against damage to the skin from UV rays. Soothing with anti-microbial properties. Antioxidant (very potent). Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil – essential oil with astringent and antiseptic properties.
Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil* (organic) – has antioxidant properities, protective. Antioxidant.
Rosa Damascena Flower Oil – skin conditioning and soothing essential oil.
Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Oil – essential oil that is soothing, helps skin maintain elasticity. Anti-aging.
Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil – essential oil that is toning and skin normalizing.
Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil – uplifting, soothing, skin conditoning essential oil.
Honey – soothing, calming, protective, nourishing. Has been used to reduce the appearance of scarring, and to speed healing. Provides protective support against harmful bacteria. Antioxidant.
Sodium Lactate – sodium salt of lactic acid, exfoliant, humectant. Moisturizes and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
Fructooligosaccharides (D-beta) (aka D-beta fructan) - D-beta-Fructans condition the skin, helping to retain the ideal amount of moisture, and support the immune system. Moisturizing. Protective.
Quercetin – Applied topically, it will protect skin cells from oxidative stress induced by glutathione depletion, It also inhibits membrane lipid of skin cells from peroxidation when exposed to UV light. Another interesting property of quercetin is its anti-elastase activity, i.e. it inhibits the activity of the endogenous enzyme responsible for the breakdown of elastin, a component crucial to skin elasticity. Antioxidant.
Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil – skin conditoning and firming. Soy, a natural selective estrogen receptor modulator (or phytoestrogen), mimics the effects of estrogen to counteract the negative effects of estrogen loss on the skin. Soy has also been proven to improve skin hydration, smoothness and firmness. Anti-aging.
Polysorbate 20 – surfactant agent.
Tocopheryl Acetate (D-alpha) – chirally correct form of Vitamin E. (It is worth noting that other, non-chirally correct forms can cause allergenic reactions). Protective antioxidant that stimulates the immune system. The ozone present in polluted air decreases Vitamin E content in the stratum corneum, accelerating oxidation and destruction of membrane lipids, which in turn causes skin problems. This is why it is important to apply chirally correct D-alpha tocopherol topically to replenish the Vitamin E lost by the action of ozone on skin. Antioxidant.
Phospholipids - a complex substance found in all living cells. Known to bind water and hold it in place. A natural emulsifier from a plant source.
Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (Cassia Beta Glycan) – an herb used for centuries to alleviate many skin conditions. Researchers claim it can increase moisturization by 300% against a placebo. These polysaccharide carbohydrates provide good long-term moisturizing and skin softening, enhancing the skin immune system. Cassia Beta-Glycans boosts immunity, calms skin, helps retain moisture and leaves a velvety feel on the skin. Moisturizer.
Sodium PCA (L) - This component of the skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF) has a very high hydrating power and is non-irritating, and non-allergenic. Plumps up the skin with moisture. Also known for its anti-aging benefits. Anti-aging. Moisturizer.
Carnosine (L) – an amino acid, a sirtuin and an antioxidant that stabilizes cellular membranes, protecting them from damage by free radicals. It also appears to be able to slow "glycation", a process in which DNA and protein are damaged by glucose. Glycation results in loss of cell function, genome integrity and accelerated aging. L-Carnosine helps to prevent skin collagen cross-linking which leads to loss of elasticity and wrinkles. L-Carnosine is a super antioxidant that quenches even the most destructive free radicals. Sirtuin. Antioxidant. Note: Sirtuin – a rejuvenation ingredient: Sirtuins prolong the life of fibroblasts and fibroblasts manufacture collagen. They do this by suppressing excess gene activity and boosting antioxidant activity.
Hyaluronic Acid (L-sodium hyaluronate) - L-Sodium Hyaluronate has the ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water – significantly more than other humectants, including collagen and glycerin. HA also has the ability to hold water for a much longer period of time than any other humectant. Skin plumping. Moisturizing.
Sphingolipids - have moisturizing properties and exhibit cell regenerating functions. A key element in maintaining a proper moisture balance. Moisturizing. Anti-aging.
Proline (L) – an animo acid, improves the strength of the cellular wall, it is a protein-builder, and is essential to collagen production. Proline improves skin texture and aids collagen formation and helps contain the loss of collagen during aging. Anti-aging.
Superoxide Dismutase (L) – The role of SOD is to eliminate the free radicals resulting from lipid peroxidation and to prevent the chain reactions that would eventually reach deeply into the skin, and topical application of SOD will certainly help to achieve this aim. Antioxidant (very powerful one).
Sorbitol - Derived from the leaves and berries of the Mountain Ash plant. It occurs naturally in a wide variety of fruits and berries. Sorbitol has been safely used in processed foods for almost half a century. A humectant, it absorbs moisture from air to prevent skin dryness, and leaves skin velvety. Moisturizing.
Glucosamine HCI (D) (aka D-beta glucosamine) - D-beta-Glucosamine is one of the many small molecular weight chemicals that make up the natural moisturizing factor (NMF). Macroscopically, D-beta-Glucosamine applied topically alleviates skin dryness, and facilitates exfoliation. Smoothes skin to a silky softness. Moisturizing. Protective.
Panthenol (D) (aka Pro Vitamin B5) - this is the chirally correct form of the vitamin: D-Panthenol is said to have skin-reparative abilities. It supports the growth and maintenance of bodily tissues, increases the skin’s hyaluronic acid content and assists in stabilizing the moisture content of the skin. Moisturizing. Anti-aging.
Xanthan Gum – natural thickening agent.
